goddamn, I wish I was in the first batch of shipments . . . I generally never get creased about wait time, but I REALLY want this thing in my hands to get some prints into. I just don't have the wall-space (or framing budget) for everything I own that I want on the walls and going through stuff in the flat file is a bit of a pain in the ass. this is really going to be such a game-changer for my collection.

one question on that vid, Joe - was the poster going in just done by one person? or was someone hold the sleeve open while someone else slide the poster in (that sounds like a euphamism . . )?

assumedly you would do it like an 18x24. i just put it on a flat surface and slide them in.

that's sort of what I figured - I have some of the bags unlimited mylar sleeves and it can be a huge pain in the ass getting them in, even with a nicely flattened poster. This just looked "too" easy . . . :D

Sweet - love the extra room on the sides, that's a huge plus.

did you say like 30-40 prints could fit in the portfolio? if you had 15-20 sleeves? And when's the second batch estimated to ship out?

thanks Joe!

20 sleeves are super easy (40 prints). The question is how much do you really want to go? I got 50 sleeves into one but its heavy so its not something you'd move around. They're almost done with the second batch. The wait is just the shipping process of getting it overseas.. Our first batch is apparently taking up an entire Fedex Freight Truck.

Really great project/product. I'm mostly joking about hating the wait, but this really was a void that needed to be filled in the hobby.

Now you need to work on a 18x24 one. :D

it was the plan.

Working on two things for this.

As long as you aren't moving it everywhere, you can technically still use this portfolio. The one I have at home I put several 18 x 24s in a sleeve.

Yeah, wish they'd post a real picture with some detail shots.
