What did everyone choose? Went for A Boy Named Charlie Brown by Whalen. Nothing valuable but I like it.
I got a Wizard of Oz, it was my 3rd choice. I wanted that superman

Yes, it is sad. I respect what they did by offering a print like this.

I was on the variant subscription, I got Invasion of the Body Snatchers by Whalen. I just noticed that it is a 26x38 print (why) so it will never make the wall, but I like the print anyway. It was my third choice as well, the Willy Wonka ananphada was first, then a catwoman Batman returns was second.

It ain't #SAD or surprising. They'd been putting out nothing but peanuts fudge for years. Not exactly a sustainable business model.

Yeah this isn’t sad. This was inevitable.

Infinite emails aside, they always seemed like nice people who were genuinely enthusiastic about movies and posters. I'm not sure what happened between the good initial stuff in the classic film line and the endless Peanuts giclees, but I'm sorry they couldn't find a groove that worked better. I hope they're remembered more for the good stuff than the bizarre. :)

Somebody should collect all their emails and print it in a book form.

It would be longer than Infinite Jest

RIP DHM

For all their faults, they put out a lot of great stuff.

Was always hoping they'd finish out the other 2 Whalen/Peanuts movies as those were my favorites. Oh well.

Probably.

Point was, I'll miss DHM and I really dug some of their stuff. Hope someone else picks up a Peanuts license. Maybe Harry Potter and Its a Wonderful Life too.
