vortec42 wrote:Hey guys (or JC), what's the status of the nature guild subscription? I haven't been totally keeping up to speed, so maybe I missed something, but is the sub still going? I don't think I saw any renewal notices. I can't remember how many tubes I got and how many were promised. Anyone know what's up? Just curious...

I don't keep up with this thread so I know this reply is late in coming.

I recently email JC to change my address and he replied to my question about the sub
re: Tubes- yeah the 3rd will finish up the initial sub, hoping to finish up the last few guild prints by the end of May (one is already in prepress)
Of course, don't take end of May as a for sure date. We all know things change.

Could simply call it artistic license but it was a more deliberate choice than that..

Not only did it help to ensure some detail would register well, but it worked for his stage of development as well. I pictured the character as "student" here, nearly ready to leave the chrysalis but still in process of morphing into the final incarnation as hero. Artists have used the part to illustrate the stage of transformation before, so borrowed the idea here to set the time

Am I missing something, or shouldn't there be a presale link on the nature guild website about 30 minutes ago?

That commission slot and price is a great deal. Whiffed personally but great score for those who got it.
