CHELONE
Chelone, the nymph who didn’t want to party, was condemned by Zeus to forever carry her home on her back for failing to attend his wedding. “Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home.” Transformed into a tortoise and sentenced to a lifetime of home confinement, Chelone has decorated her abode with the most decadent of details. The print is entirely produced on special metallic paper, which retains all the details of the original painting while imparting a luxurious sheen. The tortoise shell, octopus, and Chelone’s hair are dimensionally enhanced, and details on the shell and water are silkscreened in diamond dust. A custom embossment of a hermit crab completes the narrative.

P.S. I've always found it a bit odd when artists hang their own work in their house.

Yeah, it's baller alrightThe Hide Out is designed by Frank Gehry
I'm not someone else.
especially since in 2013 I remember reading.. "The fact is I’ve been neutered by a divorce that has lasted for years. It has no foreseeable end because the respondent is incapable of settling, and I’ve run out of money to take it to court for a final decision"
And
"Everything I had worked for and saved in the past ten years is gone. Squandered among charlatans, exorcists, phrenologists, luxury goods retailers."

Must have had some good fortune since then

He definitely appears to have gotten his business and personal affairs in order since then. He seems to have a new gf (wife?) and a child, and is making a killing on timed editions. Teaming up with Murakami also can't hurt with gallery sales.
