I'm not entirely sure when the images were originally created by James, to be honest. But I've dated them as 2017 in the DB, since I believe that's when the prints were released. They're images from this book released last year that was 10 years in the making: http://www.sfwam.org/home So they could have been created anywhere in that time period. The reason I'm just now seeing them, is that the #1 copies from the 24 x 24 editions of each are being sold in Corey Helford Gallery's Waxploitation exhibition this weekend. Both 24 x 24 and 12 x 12 are still available here:
