It is Darren Aronofsky, though... Sorta gets the benefit of the doubt for me. Dude's a rockstar.
So it goes...

Is this his first movie poster sans private commissions?

I'll probably pass on this one, but I hope he gives The Shape of Water the same treatment because I'd go for that one.

4AM here. drymount that. I would have tried otherwise. I've set my alarm and got up 2-3 times and missed out on releases in the past. Not fun.

Price went from $395 to $325 on the website, not sure if that'll be the new price.

Looks like the reviews for the film aren't that great so far. $325 seems far beyond what I'd risk in purchasing a movie poster prior to actually seeing the movie, even if I like the artist, actors, and director. Although relative to what he charges for his open editions, the price is relatively fair. I would never pay $200 for an open edition print though...

James hasn't done open editions since he closed his old website - ProcessRecess. Back then he did prints between $40 and $130 if I remember correctly. He now does timed or limited editions, they are both finite editions.

He used to do custom orders too, just email him and tell him which image you want
