I saw ebay listings last night with them in hand, so I wonder how many were sold today.

I got a 404 error after the shipping page, which seems weird with shopify, but I refreshed it and got a set.

Luls. Over fuggin pins that'll be barely over face in a few weeks with 1k total on the market. Wouldn't surprise me if he made another #butthurt timed version.

Yeah, never fell for the hype on pins. Even JJs. Good on him for LTD.

Hello All,

I have a print from JJ I am trying to sell and I can't find any info about it online. It has been referred to as his "Fall Into Reading" print or "2007 LA Book Fair" print. For reference, it is here: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/165788830 ... =530&h=671

It is very much his style from that time. I bought it from his store when he used to sell all kinds of his prints and there was no such thing as timed limited edition runs - the halcyon days!

So, can anyone offer any help or guidance on pricing this thing? I can't tell if it's super rare or just not sought after. JJ doesn't have it on his site under works for 2007 (I also checked 2006-2009 just to be sure). It is signed by JJ as well. Thanks for any help you all can provide.

To be fair to pins in general, JJ are the nicest quality I've seen. Particularly the backings.

12"×18"
It sold for $52 back in '07
Signed and embossed, not numbered.
Open edition. (Closed by 2010)

His older prints have definitely gone up in value, however this is a hard one as it's really just advertising.

Put it up for 3 or 4 hunge. If it doesn't sell after a couple months, drop the price.

Thanks for all the replies everyone! I admit I am not the best researcher online but I can't find anything on this print. Some guy sold one on eBay for ~$20 in Feb but it wasn't the actual print as far as I can tell. It must have been either a copy or something taken from a book. I looked at the pics and no JJ signature. I found one gallery owner selling it so I guess I might reach out to him for advice. I am thinking not many people bought this one for whatever reason. I am a sucker for red/orange so it was in my wheelhouse. Plus I just love his 2007 style :)

I recently sold "Seasons" on eBay for 600, which I thought was pretty decent. It's kind of amazing how he has blown up. Just saw on Instagram that Maisie Williams was at one of his shows. The last artist I loved this much was Yoshitomo Nara and before he blew up, I could have bought one of his sculptures for 3k and the last time I checked, years ago, it was going for 17k :(

Forager is a signed and numbered time-limited edition of giclée prints. The Forager scours the forest in search of material for her flower arrangements. Her stork scissors cut through the veins of gold that course through each element in the landscape. Every delicate contour line in Forager has been embellished in metallic gold, and her stork scissors have been dimensionally sculpted in finely detailed relief. A severed, forlorn tulip continues the narrative below in a dimensional chop with golden line work. Forager will be available for 24 hours starting at 8:00 AM PDT on Tuesday, May 14 and ending at 7:59 AM PDT on Wednesday, May 15. The edition is limited by the number of prints sold during those 24 hours and never reprinted.
Image size: 20″ tall × 15″ wide
Paper size: 23-1/2″ tall × 18″ wide
Scissors are transparent pink and dimensionally sculpted
Metallic gold stamped line work and border
Sculpted dimensional chop, with gold outlines
