I'm sure James Jean would do fine if he decided not to do popular movie art or something.

Maybe.

JJ did the official one sheet for the theaters. Odds are he had permission to do the art print.

Time will tell....you’ve only made it in the poster world as an artist when you’ve done at least one predator print

What I meant was that you’re getting all the normal JJ fans buying, plus a spillover (surplus) from the mondo crowd, who will buy simply because it’s the art from the movie poster.

Fair point. I'd just imagine it's a perfect storm of good art, the image being an official one for the one-sheet, the Mondo/movie poster crowd being interested, and the film's buzz from being an Oscar contender. It all worked out well for this release.

1700 is huge, but honestly the man being able to sell like 800 bunny orgy prints is already mighty impressive.

Real talk.

Thinking about it that way, I am almost surprised the edition size isn't higher. Haha!

I'm sure ill try to nab the one sheet at some point, but hats off to all those that made the good call. Cool to see so good artists get official one sheets as of late.
