Art of Tomer Hanuka
Tomer Hanuka has been receiving a lot of well-deserved attention in MondoTees News & Rumors thread for his recent movie posters, but it's hard to track Hanuka news in the day to day Mondo torrent. Seems like Tomer should have a dedicated thread - maybe we can coax him into releasing more art prints.

Unfortunately, this idea has been attempted before with little success:

Always been a fan of the guy. I own some of his prints and even his garishly pink art book.

You can get his book here: http://www.amazon.com/Overkill-Tomer-Ha ... 1584234652
It's not the limited edition UP was selling a while back but if you just want to flip through some great art it's $20 very well spent.

Sorry dude, I searched but didn't get a hit for that. Let's bump that one up and let this one fizzle - or merge if possible?choke wrote:Unfortunately, this idea has been attempted before with little success:

Oh no, this one is off to a good start. Let's just keep it going
I think it's great Tomer can re-imagine some supremely intense moment from a film, as in his 300 poster, and also create an image like The Known Universe, which is about as romantic and intimate as an image can be without nudity. That emotional breadth is evident in quite a few of his subjects.
Good stuff, celloman, thanks.celloman85 wrote:I interviewed him a few months ago. Hoping to get an Akira print out of him soon:
