I'm surprised to see the "meh" comments about this one. I'm very impressed with this release. I'm sure, especially with the size, it will be even more impressive in person.

I think that this is my favorite image of the ones offered:

Love the image. Glad it's been sitting for a while as I was in a meeting. Easy buy.

Easy pass for me unfortunately. Simply not pretty enough, too much black. Wish there was more dragon and color on the femme's dress. The dragon seems really squished in the frame, perhaps resting on the bottom line of blocks would've been nicer. Love the big blocks though, keep looking at the OG poster and adore the brighter colors too much.

Congrats to those that scored though. :)

^Frib, the Les Ballets De Faile is going a few hundred higher. But other than that I agree.

The 150s flip fine. And if you don't insta-flip they can appreciate in short time. I'm thankful I bought Brooklyn Bedtime Stories when it released. I couldn't afford it now.

It didn't right off the bat, though.. . took some time to season.

Agree. This will flip fine if you're not in a hurry. Not many Failes end up on eBay compared to other artists I won't name now

This is because if you buy faile to flip, you are definitely doing it wrong since almost none flip and you can get some below cost before the price rises. Which is good for them.

Flipping is buying and immediately selling. It's for quick short term profits. Selling a year or two after a print release is not flipping. Buying a house, living in it for a few years, and then selling it is not house flipping.

Love the image and at $350 this was a no-brainer, especially given the size. I would've happily paid $500 for this from the source. My only critique would be that it has one or two black blocks too many for my taste, but I am sure it will be much more vivid in person, like they usually are.

Glad a friend was able to help me get it while I was away. :pint:
