Not my favorite Keyes but still would make the wall. The wife even digs it

It is indeed crazy. Josh is a very good painter, Yale mfa, and heck of a nice guy.

Drew is without question a living legend and perhaps one of the greatest of all time at what he does and defined a visual style that has had 3 decades of influence.

Their markets are entirely different and should never be compared but if you had to compare. One has decades of pent up demand and has dropped a handful of works and the other has dropped two prints a year every year for quite a few years running.

Josh work and imagery is not what it used to be, does nothing for me these days, and over prints and over prices all his releases. Really easy pass. This newest print is the worst I've seen of his possibly ever. To each their own. This def isn't for me. Sold all my Keyes by now and don't expect him to blow my mind again

Look you bought it, I get it, congrats be happy with your purchase unless you were hoping to flip then I understand why this frustrates you.

But Keyes has 55.5K followers you would think of those at least 300 would love to have this piece if so great, which the image is. But why still up...... Struxan 15K followers and sells out of 400 Big Trouble in Little China... ok yes a classic but come on $200-250 for a remade movie poster (great piece) versus a unique design.... giclee vs screen print

haha yea you can't group us into this. Its a totally different market.

Josh sold like 200 prints at that price point of original work. Thats amazing for any artist.

Ha this is still going, I didn't group him with any other artists, just mentioned due to a giclèe vs screen print and mentioned Mondo and Bottleneck, others brought in other artists so I looked them up and provided a perspective, read the thread.

Look if this was a screen print others probably would have jumped on it. I might have as I like the image but unless I really love it I'm not buying an expensive poster.

There's enough horse art in the world before this print came around. Easy pass.

Well if you have any regrets you can probably pick one up near cost as long as his market remains stable.

People think the Keyes market is collapsing? I don't see Stampede going down in aftermarket prices :?
