I’ll contribute what I choose. Get over it or block me.

For what it’s worth, I’ve been a big fan of Josh’s work. Own several originals, etc.

Technically speaking, Josh is an incredible talent. Any critique of his more recent work that I give is honest and comes from
the heart and is certainly not just to bust any balls.

This is an art forum. If you can’t take a fan of an artist giving honest feedback and opinions on said artist’s work you simply shouldn’t be here.

And regarding Dump, PLEASE.

I would just like to comment that I am thrilled that we now have a new bar for identifying when arguments have gone to a place where they are invalid.

It used to be, he who invokes Hitler first loses.

It is now, he who invokes Trump first loses.

Trump is literally the new Hitler.

Sadly, I agree as well. I just re-hung all of my framed Keyes prints in the living room and love them like on the first day. Don't feel the "new" style at all, but, of course, I am happy that Josh seems to get sth out of it. Very much looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Josh!

it is a sad day when the worm has turned with guys like Duck and Gork, and i have thrown in on this in the past as well. I never thought i would be passing on primary market Keyes offers, but i have now multiple times. BUT it is a new year and hope springs eternal, and the money went to good use buy martin wittfooth and zoe keller.

I do wonder if josh sees this as an evolution in his work. I keep wanting him to change but if he is happy doing what he is doing god bless and i wish him well. If he thinks this style is still evolving then perhaps at some point me and that evolution will reconnect.

I actually dig this one. Except for the really unfinished look of everything but the bear. A pass for me.

What I've found rather unappealing with the last few prints is the color palette. To my eye they look quite bland and washed out. But otherwise I do like this image.

Definitely less vibrant based on that pic.

Wow no love for Josh today. Quiet on the drop. I do wish it was done in another format than Giclee.

I mean...he's only done giclees of his paintings, to my admittedly limited knowledge. Doubt there will ever be a move to screenprinting or whatnot.

I'd like to see a screen print or hand embellishments for his tags at least. Something I think could have easily been done on this release, then lower the edition, slight price increase, I'd might have bought as I like this image. IMO

Does lead to another question, if an artists does not sell out after a few print release, does a gallery care, as in may drop the artist? Or if the originals are selling fine and most of the prints are sold, they still make their money?
