It's amazing how technically competent the execution is in many ways; the lighting, the shadows, the little details - they look fantastic.

But it's clear the title treatment lacked the same attention to detail unfortunately. I agree with everything hunterjax said - the kerning and alignment of some of the characters are troubling, not to mention - I feel like "WITH" did not need to be the same size as everything else (but I guess that's subjective). Wish he stayed closer to the original sketch in that regard.

Another vote for the title treatment ruining this for me. How did that slip by?

DHM could use a freelance proofreader/editor (by strange coincidence, that's what I am, actually. Can I help out, DHM?). This isn't the first time they've had a title or credit treatment that didn't parse quite correctly. In this case, obviously GONE and WIND are the same level of importance, and WITH and THE are the same level of importance. So the typography within each word pair ought to match. What they did with this is just . . . I can't look at the jpeg any more. Sad.

Hopeful for The Graduate being good but Durieux has not been coming through lately.

Also, already confused why the poster would feature a woman looking over a pool. Need to see more though

Yeah, obviously, but the image relative to the title makes it seem as though the mother is going to be a prominent as Tippy is in the Birds print.... OR.... On par with the type of deviations Laurent usually takes, its not the mother at all, but Mrs. Robinson for some completely nonsensical reason.

All speculation though, we shall see for reals.

on second thought, after searching through some clips on Youtube to refresh my memory of the movie, it could make sense but a little bit of a stretch.
