I never received anything, but I didn’t give money for the card, and the conversation was so cringey already that I just left it alone and forgot about it (until now).talkingdeads wrote:danieldanger wrote:also, and i cant believe were still doing this, but i clearly state im going to send people a card. itll probably be a nice card because im an illustrator.

The oul 'busy artist' escape clause...
I hope he does send out thank you cards. And I hope they’re folded up pieces of cheap printer paper with “Thanks a bunch” printed in dot matrix from a printer that was running low on ink weeks prior but they just don’t even sell ink in those cartridges anymore, that’s how old and shitty the printer is.
It was a wedding fund, for an artist. If you didn’t want to give anything, you really didn’t have to. That’s the beauty of free will. If you donated explicitly to receive a thank you card, I guess you have the right to be mildly annoyed. I don’t get it, but whatever. But the whining about it at the time, and even now is silly. That’s the other side of free will.

Are people whining about it? I was just curious

I'm still waiting for the line work set, is this where we complain about stuff?
