This one obviously was more high profiled amongst the Phish scene and yea of course if they got friends and family to enter thats fine. As long as it isn't a duplicate of themselves, its a fair entry.
Not really, a lot of Phish fans fudge on Hampton because of the over bearing police presence there, hotels have cracked down on the parties and it's located in a ghetto. Probably the reason why they chose Hampton to do the Pollock was because they knew there would be tickets in the tree that weekend. It did end up being a great run though.
I honestly don't follow the scene too much but heard great things about it.

Hampton used to be one of the meccas for Phish fans. It's lost quite a bit of it's luster after the crackdowns by the authorities over the years. Best indoor venue to see an actual concert IMO but not so great if you're looking for the party too.

2/3 of the run was available as a free ticket to be taken off the ticket tree outside the venue, sad and a far cry from it's glory years.

Not a single person has added the AE to their collection on EB. The 1 person with ti in their collection, had it there since AE was added to the dropdown.

Thanks for the chance at this print. Sounds and seems like you were able to find owners for these prints, just not EB collectors, for better or for worse. I have yet to find one person who has bought the AE on here, Twitter, and Facebook. Lots of people melting down though whhich is always entertaining when it comes to art purchasing.

Congrats to the winners!! I knew my chances were low after just getting picked for the lemonwheel pollock. Thanks Joe and every employee at Bottleneck. You guys work your asses off and we appreciate it. Cheers

yo. Hampton isn't a Ghetto. Go head to Portsmouth then we can talk. #localreferences

Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads gets some good concerts now that I think about it. Some of my favorite concerts have been in my home town.

Yeah you're right, probably not as much a ghetto as there's not all that much to do unless you're willing to rent a car and take a day trip over to Richmond, Williamsburg or Va Beach. I loved my most recent trip to the area this past tour fwiw, just that there is nothing in or nearby Hampton that makes it enjoyable
