Joe - What are the details on buying the originals? One or two per person? I'm not in NYC anymore but would love to arrange a PB for one of the originals and it would help to know some of those details prior to arranging said PB.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Oh man...this is a tough post to make. Reason being, it's known that BNG has done some solids for a lot of people... I respect that. However, those Chilcott's. Man...
I see that ScottC has stayed true to his character as one of the nicest guys ever. I read that he's given his blessing to move forward. I would never presume to speak for Scott, but I can't help but think that he'd 'rise above it'...even if it did bother him. I guess if you're going to copy-cat an artist he'd be the best choice, eh? I say this only because I just don't see Scott as the type of person who would prevent someone from making a living...putting a roof over ones head and food on the table.
I don't expect anyone to agree with me, but I think you've stepped over the line with this release.

While we are all speaking for others... anyone care to speculate what my stance on something is?

You act like he's doing showdowns or something. Is no one allowed to paint super heros in water color now? Come onIWish wrote:Oh man...this is a tough post to make. Reason being, it's known that BNG has done some solids for a lot of people... I respect that. However, those Chilcott's. Man...

Listen you're totally right. The moment you see them you automatically gravitate to Scotts work because they're small and watercolors.
When Mark started it, he wanted to give the watercolors a shot and even changing up features of the characters, still had that Scott feeling. After the first few, we sent Scott an email to hear his thoughts and he thought that while similar he still saw a difference in the characters themselves and said go for it. It wasn't after Mark completed 50
I've been friends with Scott for a few years already and if he had said he felt uncomfortable, Mark wouldn't have continued to this point.
On top of that it was just a different theme but we knew once we showed it, we would get responses like that. There was no escaping that happening.
