Just found this thread so I guess I'm cross posting this. Framed Dubois GD50 and Slater Panic Red Rocks 2014. Both framed by local framers here in Salt Lake City. Both are double matted. Wood frame is custom work by Phase Frames.

Hi, stupid question but is there any risk to the art by it using a mat? I have some stuff done but typically avoid the matting due to the size.

Just got this one back. Not sure how I feel about it. Part of me feels the purple mat is too over the top and the piece is too colorful. Maybe it will grow on me. Decided to cover all of the white and signature for the purple to work
