That's an awful lot of orange for me. I'd make that the accent color instead. I'm not sure that blue is complimentary to the print either, but maybe that's just me.

Yep , Blue and Orange are opposites in the colour spectrum go with either or , or tone down the amount of one as to be subtle .

Thanks for the advice. I'd like to try leaving the blue single matt narrow like in the example shown but I want to try and get that orange top matt changed to white (kind of like how therivler1's PHISH looks on page 33) and see how a narrower orange frame will look. I'm having trouble with the dimensions though, it's just not coming out right.

Failing that maybe I should just go with a simple set up. I've seem some framed stuff that don't look like they have matts though, such as these nice perillo's here. Are they still protected from the glass?

never really been into the faile art, but the velvet matt and frame up here is sweet as, congrats
art is the only justification for pain :)
