Looking good with the BTTF. That'll probably one of my next prints for a DIY frame.
Here's my first DIY frame from American Frame. Still need to throw in some spacers. I think it turned out alright.

Really nice to see that framed up. I have a pretty gold one that I should put up...Auds1000 wrote:I just framed my Ian Millard today. The picture does not show the beauty of the gold in the frame and the art itself. It is a stunner in person.
A copy over from the Peacedog thread: I just got an email from Corey with some pictures of my first framed Sperry(s).
The details from Corey are: A black metallic gloss outer frame, chrome fillet, and enamel finish natural wood for the exterior. Then under the plexi is 2 1/2" hand-wrapped black silk liner, then matching enamel wood with a beaded fillet, and finally a 1/2" black silk liner. He really killed the framing for the print, I love how the wood highlights the wood of the acoustic and the black brings out "blackie". Now I just have to find a way to get this monster from Denver to South Texas.

Now motivated! On my way to Denver in mid-May, posters in hand with the hope that Corey doesn't mind shipping to ATL!

forgive me for saying this, but you might want to switch the yellow/red, so that they are in the order they were released, and you can see the progression from piece to piece.
Here's the next installment in my framing journey. I saw this band in Vegas last year. Chris Cornell proved that he can still hit the high notes. Soundgarden is one of my all time favorite bands so I decided to make this print my first framed gig poster. Soundgarden has a deeper/darker sound so that was the theme behind this project. Two mats. One of those is neon green to highlight some of the green ink in the art. The molding was expensive, but it complements the whole piece. I should find a cheaper hobby. Screw it, this is fun!
