I now appreciate framers a lot more.
Nice Job! I still need to frame mine.
How did you do it? What size frame did you use?
38 x 23 3/4 via American Frame I believe. With 3/4 spacers all around, just to see if I could do it.kcposters wrote:Bleak wrote:First DIY frame job. Months in the making, and despite the errors, I'm pretty happy with it.

So, I have had a handful of the pieces for these frames sitting around for a while, and finally got off my ass and ordered some spacers and put these together:
Been waiting a while to properly frame this Torneros:
Tried to get a bit of depth in the frame too:
Also, happy to have Marq's Peche girl up in time for the beer to be available (had one other day while admiring this on the wall):
(and if someone has a poor beer wench entombed in a flat file send me a message, I may have something to help her )
And I'm really glad most everything framed out on this scratch and dent phlegm I got for a great price (Me and the girlfriend are toying with the idea of another mat, but going to wait till I need to make another order to save on some shipping):
I like how to molding almost looks like a 3D relief of some of his linework:

Seconded. I used that same frame for a small print and loved it. Hadn't thought about it for Civilisation. Did you go through americanframe for it?shoeless wrote:Great frame for the Civilisation!

Yep, american frame, was nice to have their free shipping (well plus $15 oversized charge) on a frame this large.fnord wrote:Seconded. I used that same frame for a small print and loved it. Congrats on the frameup! I love that print, but not a fan of the orange mats.
