Ok. So I've reworked my vision. I'm now framing lifted and sowers and getting rid of stampede.
As for lifted, which in taking in later today, I'm thinking this: black or dark brown(ish) frame matted with three mats, the outer being black with the inner two showing thin crisp lines of an orange/red to match the 76 ball and a navy/blue to match the writing and tie in the water.
Thoughts?

I'll tell you what else I did yesterday. Dropped lifted and sowers off. Lifted has a triple mat, sowers will be double matted, and both will have museum glass. They should look good. My wallet hurts though.

If it's not too personal a question, how much do you typically spend per piece for framing?bryndavies wrote:I'll tell you what else I did yesterday. Dropped lifted and sowers off. Quick turnaround on the Weaving print I got from bryndavies. Framed it up for about $35 real quick on Saturday to give it to my brother at a family gathering for the years' worth of birthdays. He's a pretty basic guy so I knew he wouldn't notice / care about the home frame job. It came out pretty good and got it all dusty up in there for my bro when I gave it to him.
Thanks again bryndavies
