Finally. The full, uncut version is framed:

For those that expressed an interest in the massacred print that was originally framed, unfortunately the framer has decided to hang it in his own house, which is his prerogative seeing as he bought me this replacement.

Well I figure that he effectively bought the cut up one from me when he paid for the replacement.

this is that print that had some text below the image. and the framer decided to cut it off and just frame the image.

I asked for the text to be matted over, and for some reason the framer lost the plot and chopped the text off altogether. He was absolutely mortified, couldn't explain why it had happened, and immediately agreed to pay for a replacement. I'm happy.

Why not have him mat all the sides evenly for continuity?

Considered that but just couldn't afford it. It's a huge print and the top and sides are already 4", bottom is 7". I'm very happy with the way it is.
