I had this frame that September fit into nicely. I really need to remat it. This was a mat I had done for a print I traded away. It bothers me that the sides show more white than the top bottom

Congrats on your score. I know you were looking for awhile. Did you nab that one that was up on ebay a few weeks ago? September looks nice in a frame, but I agree with you about a bigger mat.

nah, got this via a trade months ago. I just never got around to trying to frame it up. I like it. I'll place a new mat order when I place a framing order sometime this winter.

You can frame painted things under glass/plexi no problem, just (like everything else) make sure that the glass isn't touching the paint.
Doing this one myself. I'll post pics when i get it done tonight

The general rule is that you glaze (put glass, plexi, etc) on works on paper, not on works on canvas. And like Mr. Smith said, make sure the glass no touchy.

I need to stop framing stuff...i have four print framed prints in my closet that should be on the walls. Just don't have the room without my place looking cluttered

Thanks. I was a big fan of the print to begin with but when I saw it in the frame I was like
Really happy and the wife loves it too, which is a +.

I like the frames rubberneck - did you get them from AF?

Cheers. Both are from Aaron Bros:
Station Texas is their standard (white) custom build offering and Grand Cloister is an actual off-the-shelf for $15.
Used a white & grey mat scheme (same colors for both).

The annoying bit: I have returned and/or rejected the Grand Cloister frame job 4 times!
1. Scuffed Mat
2. Badly (hand) cut mat. Crooked and disproportinate
3. New computer cut mat with (new) debris!
4. Still debris present! :hanging:
