Cross posting....Here's my TWBB that was a long time in the making. Came home from the Silent Aviary show to it unboxed and waiting for me, it was like Christmas morning and capped off an amazing art weekend. This thing is a beast at 49 inches tall

I hold all of my pieces by Corey and Furthur extremely high but this thing is definitely my favorite child :D

Hi. Been working on this for quite a while and happy to show it off here.
Purple heart wood sandwiched with Koa wood in the middle. I used 2 pieces of copper and inlaid them between the kao and purple heart. There is only one miter corner for the copper, it turns the corner on the other 3. I put 5 mantaray inlays out of purple heart wood to match up with the mantas in the poster. I did one black mother of pearl inlay hiding out in the shadow of the tree. One of my favorite posters and now happy to have it up on my wall. Handmade frame I also did all the matting/glass cutting myself.

The paper and the outside mat are 95% a match in hand but for some reason showing slightly different in the pics, oh well. Nevertheless, Detritus...
