Yeah, I'm no fan of ornate gold frames anyway, unless you're a Renaissance master or something. Think of how smooth that job would have looked with a low, wide dove-grey mat, with maybe just a little bit of woodgrain showing through...but that's just me. Congrats, hatred, I think the RSR is the most underrated Horkey print ever.

Yea, I think I would get bored real fast with something like that, although the gray matte could work......

Maybe its just my opinion, but I feel the more ornate style frames compliment Horkey's style much better.

Thank you, sir!

And the above comment is not to say I don't think that a more basic frame can't work for any piece. Smith's framed Black Grist set could not look more spot on in my opinion. It really was the perfect frame choice for those...

I'm the opposite. I loooooooove gold frames!!
And that's really all that matters! Well, that and the fact that the art is up on a wall being enjoyed instead of hiding away in a flat file somewhere. :)

I meant "low wide dove-grey frame," not mat.

Hahaha, I know I'm not the only one really digging that Grist set framing...

Looks great. I'm glad you don't suffer from "over-do it disease."
