First post here. Got this back from the framer a while ago. Thought I would post this here. I just got a a few items back from the framers (alot of Pearl Jam stuff), will post those later.

So my bro treated this Asian dude and to show his gratitude, he gave my brother one of his artwork. Handed to him folded pretty much in a small rectangle. You can still see the creases after we flattened it and used heat. The rice paper is really thin, delicate, so theres not much we could've done to save it. But the artwork is just amazing, very detailed, very exquisite. We never heard from this Asian dude again, he was pretty much an illegal (no insurance, no visa, etc), but is damn talented with a brush. It's a wonderful piece and its huge, so I got it framed for him as a gift.

And here's some old Pearl Jam prints I've had for a while:

Thanks everyone for the kind words! Been a member here for a bit, never posted, but I think this thread is great. I've gotten alot of ideas on how I wanted my pieces framed through someone else's eyes.

I remember when I took the Asian piece to the framer - she owns an art gallery too - and she was blown away, wanted desperately to track that Asian dude down. We tried, no luck, we have no idea where he ended up. He probably could've made some money with his talent.

Here are some better pics of the piece in detail: Image

Just got this back from the framer. I have had this print for 2 years and have been waiting to frame it for a while now. Bob at Gallery Animato in Royal Oak hooked it up again.

Sorry for the bad quality picture as well. My digital camera has been acting up lately.

Thanks. Was pretty happy overall. I'm not totally sold on the matte for the Camilla D'Errico and they matted it wrong for the Milner. It was supposed to be floated with a raised matte.. But, it looks really good, so I decided to keep it as is.

I've got a ton of stuff that is finally going to go up on the walls today/tonight/tomorrow...can't wait to finally dive head first into this thread for the first time.

You guys will probably call me "mat-less" after seeing my stuff....
