Hello!
Starting off by saying I know nothing about needlepointing so sorry if these sound like dumb questions!!
This was found at my parents house, it’s a needlepoint my grandmother did. When it was found, the edges were folded around a piece of cardboard and duct taped to the cardboard and duct taped on the back of wooden frame for display. It was unsticking and falling apart so I was able to remove it from the frame and take off all the duct tape.
What can I do with this needlepoint to repurpose it/display it again?
Can you frame a needlepoint in a regular glass picture frame?
It had been sitting in an attic for quite some time so it is definitely dusty/dirty. Can I clean it in any way to help freshen it up?
Any advice or ideas appreciated! Thanks!

SB framing in Milwaukee specializes in conservation of unique items. I would recommend finding someone similar in your area that can stabilize the piece in an archival shadowbox situation
