this might be one of the best movie prints of all time. i'm biased because I do mapping work for a living, but it still holds up as one of the greats.

i used reclaimed barn wood (hemlock) for the frame. nothing fancy, homemade frame job, but it looks stunning

That looks excellent and I really dig the mat choice -- doesn't distract from the art at all. I work in the maritime industry, so this print resonates with me on the same level. I have a bunch of old BA & NOAA charts from around the world that I would love to frame up around this at some point. Just need to find the right wall...

i'm a firm believer in simple framing, letting the artwork be the main focus is key, also it's cheaper :lol:
