...my attempts at self-cutting! thanks to american frame, and them giving you the inside of their cut mats, i was able to use the "scraps" to mat these two posters...

How do you get attachments to show up in posts? I keep adding pictures as attachments and then they don't show up in the message... ?

The image button above the text box should do the trick.

I upload everything to tinypic.com. After uploading, click on the picture until it's at it's largest, then right click, select properties, and a dialog box pops up. Save the "item location," a web address ending in .jpeg.

Now, in the EB post, when you're ready for the pic, click the "IMG" button. Then, paste the picture info. Then click "IMG" again. That's it.

I've got some framed art, but I'd rather post it in the REAL framed thread.

Mods, please unlock.

why would you want your pictures to be lost in that mess of a thread?

also-

remember folks...you should upload your photos to the respective print's page, and then link then to the thread.

Thanks. It must be that my images are too big. I will try this out tonight.

lightyears2010 wrote:when i get something framed i have em use mylar strips to hold the poster in place. its tricky sometimes on a s/n piece if the s/n is right on the edge. you need at least 1/8" to ensure the mylar cant be seen.
I reverse the strips for tight s/n pieces. In otherwords mat face down. Put the artwork in, centre, then put the strips around art work on the main mat. Works like a charm and no chance of the strips being seen since they are behind the art.
