I'll say it. I love the use of suede mattes, but this one isn't working for me for some reason.

Those look great, Kevin! Especially love what you did with the Chicago '05 print.

Air Emek 04 - Just framed it - used a silver acid-free backing board. I'm kinda new to framing myself so this is all very exciting!

Just stuck this in mylar and floated it in a $13 ready-made poster frame. I think it looks OK!

My buddy Toby drew this. Haven't seen him in about 6 years - I wonder if he knows I saved this.

I would like to see that little devil character in this PJ print become the focal point of another gigposter or artprint. Just not a PJ poster.

First, db23 might have snaked me on those small prints, but my Hot Cross is a) sketched and b) framed, as of today. So I guess that's something.

I went with a thinner version of the frame from my yellow Boris RSR, only this one is silver and blue, not silver and purple (for obvious reasons). And I know I just got done saying I don't like double mats, but this time we really wanted to make the "evening" blue pop out, but I really wanted a neutral big mat to counteract the metallic inks, the bright-blue inner, etc.

Mats and sketch:

So now that they're hung, here's the wall before. Sloppy I know:

And now here's the wall now. Dope, I know:

Sorry to double post, but tip of the day:

That "Scrubbing Bubbles Soap Scum with Orange Action" spray bottle by the TV in the second pic? That stuff takes pencil marks right off the wall. Spray the paper towel, wipe the wall. Pretty awesome when you're throwing stuff up and taking it back down all the damn time.

love that frame on the hot cross smith. I wish I could afford to do the really nice frames like that but I have a hard enough time affording just the cheapo american frame metal frames with no matting.
