So the only downside to these frames is that they have to be screwed into the wall?

Definitely considering these for long term framing solutions, most of my prints are 18x24 screen prints, that will be okay with the PETG overlay?

Hello Dent42 and thank you for your interest! You don't have to screw the frame in the wall. All my frames except for my French Grande are attached to the wall with two nails in the top screw holes. When you change out the posters you just have to make sure to hold it against the wall so you don't scratch your wall. For very large prints I highly recommend the screws just for safty reasons.

The overlays are uv protective and acid free. The frames come with two overlays, one all clear and one non-glare/clear. The non-glare/clear is non-glare on one side and clear on the other, if you have the none-glare side facing outward then you will have a non-glare look which I personally love. If you face the clear side out, you will have a clear look but not as clear as the All Clear overlay that is also provided. The downside of the All Clear Overlay is it doesn't provide as much uv protection.

I've had some of my posters and prints in our frames for over 10 years with direct sunlight part of the day (which I do not recommend) and I don't notice any fading. Maybe if I took a microscope pic before and after I would notice something.

There is a video on my site that you can look at that shows the protection that the overlays provide from UV.

Hope this helps!!!!

Here's a good question. They look easy to hang and I'll be getting a few but... I assume you need to screw these into studs or do you use wall anchors? Can just screw through dry wall and expect them to stay.

Mine are just screwed into drywall. The largest I have are 24x36 and they are extremely light.
