Recently got these back from the framer. Couldn't decide on a regular black frame or something more unique, but ended up going with somewhat unique and am overall very pleased with how they turned out.

I got a bulk deal from my framer because of the sheer number of portraits I had done.
When it came to Ant-Man, I found a wallet-sized photo frame online that was in a similar style, and just ordered that. I think it was $8 on amazon.

But I think your idea about playing with a bigger frame around it could could be super rad. You could have so much fun with mats! Maybe do color blocks of red or blue to make it look like he's shrinking. Like in the comic. So Light red to dark red. Or all blues.

So where are you guys getting 12x24 frames? Are you finding them in bulk at a particular store like Hobby Lobby or Michaels?
Are you then buying uv plexi and backings and spacers? If so, from where?
Thanks.

Ikea has frames that size for about $3.50. It ain't gonna be archival. But it's a good way to get em on the wall.

the gunnabo? (or however you spell it?)

I have one of those I used for a MMXMarvel Archangel. Used the bigger size frame with the matte - good for a temporary frame up until I get some archival materials.

Happy May the fourth! Three mats...red bottom, black mid, grey speck top. Nice rippled black frame for that empire look.

That is so slick! All standard stock sizes at a particular store or did you custom frame it? If so, through what store/site? Looks great!
