These frame ups are drymounting awesome

I really like what you did with the color matched matting. I was thinking of painting the inside of the frames to color match when I start framing my 150 series, but I might have to go with this idea instead.

probably not a good idea to do either for a 15, what you likely want is a colored spacer, which is what sits between the frame backing board and the glass in a float mount framing. with the 150 the color is on the edge, so if you used a colored backing board like these you probably want to use a complimentary or accent color and not a matching color. But i would use a matching color spacer personally. The black backing board here works so well because of the size of the white border on the print. Painting the inside edge of the frame is an interesting idea and can be done, but would likely be difficult to do cleanly, so you would need to be very careful and im guessing not a lot of framers do that very often. The rabbit on the frame hides any issues with the painting on the spacer.

This isn't mine, it belongs to the girl I'm dating, but I really like how this came out. She had been been eying this print for a long time, and I convinced her to take the plunge.

a couple of cheap out of the box frames for the faile.

put in acid free foam core backing. need to swap out for some UV anti-glare acrylic at some point, but they are up.
