so when you float a piece, how much space do you leave between the print and the frame. im sure its specific to the size of the print, but im looking to float my les ballets de faile.

i dont even really care about the deckled edges, and im not sure if its even possible due to the uneven borders, but has anyone ever framed a deckled edge print with no mat or without floating?

1/4 inch to 3/4 of an inch.

Just make sure the amount of mat/board showing is less than the width of the frame molding itself.

My logic is, I dropped $500 on print, may as well go big on framing.

Any new Faile frame-ups out there?

I'm going to the framers on Friday for Les Ballets and maybe a couple 150 series. 150's would likely be simple floats in white frames, but not sure about Les Ballets.
