Actor autographs

I didn't hesitate at all in deciding to get my original "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" 3 sheet (3.5 feet x 6.75 feet) signed by each of the 5 "kids." I'm just waiting to get the "man" to sign it and then I'll have it cleaned up, linen backed, framed and hung!

i think it's awesome and adds a ton of character to any poster personally.. the big thing which you did was pick a good sharpie for the poster and tell them a good spot to sign.. personally, im not one that looks to sell any of the stuff i purchase though especially if it gets signed but im sure that would be split with some people valuing it more and some less...

i hope to sometime in the future have all my movie prints signed!

love how they threw a little extra quote to go with the autograph too...

First announcement of my local con in September: Christopher Lloyd! I only have three months to figure out the colour and type of pen to have him use on my Roger Rabbit variant (the brownish one). Thoughts?

The answer to the question no one was excited by: I tried for a gold paint, but couldn't match it right, and went with a silver instead. And he instinctually knew where to sign it.

I really like getting stuff signed. Especially actors or directors I really like. Or if it's a poster or print from a film I really like.

Don't be scared to usher them to the exact spot on the print where you want them to sign, and also with the colour pen that you want them to use. I've got a batman photo signed by Christian bale in black pen, but the photo is mainly black. So you only see it when you tilt it in the light. I was gutted!!! I tried to give him a silver pen, but he held onto the pen from the previous person and used that. Doh

I sent Eric Roberts an email for shits and giggle one night and he sent me a signed photo of his. It was the Best of the Best autograph ever

Eric Roberts is a super nice guy. He was in Perth a few years ago for our lazy lame little idea of a comic convention and he was wandering around the stalls looking at stuff. I chatted to him for a bit and was really chuffed that he'd happily just chat to random people. Really seemed like he had a good time here.

What's the best way to take a print to a con or event if the print has been flat it's entire life, and has been framed for a long time as well? Planning on going up to Dallas/FW area to get one autograph on a print of mine, but I want to make sure it's safe as can be while I'm walking around/waiting in lines.
