Is this the same portfolio that has been getting complaints due to the tight fit of 24x36 prints in the sleeves. Really tempted to buy it but don't want to have to force my prints in the sleeves.

As long as you flatten your prints prior to loading them then it's not that big of a deal. Helps to also add a weight (heavy book) on top of the sleeve while loading the print so that the sleeve doesn't move.
Wanda: I can't stand people. I hate them. Do you hate them?
Henry: No, but I seem to feel better when they're not around.

The price is right and at least you can fit some odd sized prints in there...

It's also really helpful to have a second pair of hands. Some prints are much easier to get in than others. Older Stouts and some Ansins are very tricky, and you have to go slow...

^This person knows what they're talking about......I've been loading 24x36 posters for a couple of years now without issue. Although, I don't use heavy books to keep sleeves from moving. Heavy paper weights do the trick for me.

Also if you don't have the room to flatten before loading, it helps to just allow the poster to relax naturally for a few days/week in the rolled position before attempting to insert them. I would do this anyway before attempting to flatten them.

That is an insane deal. But I already have one, as well as 3 flat files, so I don't really need another portfolio. Don't let the tight fit stories (heh heh) dissuade you from this portfolio! It's great, you just have to be aware of the actual sizes of your prints and don't rush getting them in.

Thanks for letting us know. I am considering buying one as a bridge to the flat file and framing (moving from an apartment into a house soon). Are the polypropylene pages acid free? Would you consider a pack of 5 pages for $45 a good deal or should I look elsewhere? Do you put prints on both sides of the pages or is that risky?

Thanks for helping me out.

Was about to jump on a flat file deal in another thread but just saw this and pounced. Been waiting for a good deal on a portfolio for a long time. Going to be nice to be able to flip through the prints until I get the cash to frame them.
