Has anyone ever used one of these shipping tubes?
Twist-n-Pull Heavy Duty
I received one today. It had stuff other than art in it but at .125" Wall Thickness I can not crush it with my hands...
It seems superior to any tube that has been sent to me as of yet. A couple come close.
I have yet to send any prints out but I'm seriously considering using these tubes since a piece of steel was sent from California in the one I received and the tube survive unharmed.
...a bit impressed.

Slater uses them....only artist that I consistently order from that uses them
I've had several of those tubes sent to me by someofthe artists. I think Todd Slater uses them.they're great, sturdy outer wall and the end caps have the extra secure tabs. Very impressive.exiter wrote:Has anyone ever used one of these shipping tubes?

I'm actually not a big fan (for a somewhat silly reason). I can never open the caps without a minor headache or destroying the caps. I like to reuse a tube when I can, and with these I never can. That being said, if you're buying tubes, you're probably buying them to securely send a print, and not to mildly annoy someone; as a safe and secure print carrying vessel, they seem to be more than adequate.

I HATE opening these but will admit they seem safe. As long as you tape the caps like everyone's said.finneganm wrote:I'm actually not a big fan (for a somewhat silly reason). Is there some trick to opening?
