Buy the 24 36 and put your 18 x 24's in there, don't buy an 18 x 24 for 18 x 24 prints.

why is that?

Also, I put a 12x24 print in an 18x24 sleeve and it seems to not only slide side to side (obvious because of the sizing)
but it also slides up and out of the sleeve partially. is there anyway to avoid this? just that framing tape or w/e that
was mentioned in here?

The Itoya 18 x 24 portfolios do a great job of keeping everything in place for me, without using tape or photo corners or anything. If the print is 12 x 24 or whatever, there's static or something that holds it in place. I live somewhere where there's practically no humidity. Don't know if that helps. But you can get the Itoyas on amazon and ebay. I have noticed that prints tend to slide around much more in the Picuresque portfolios, and it's something you have to keep an eye on. I don't use photo corners, but I try to **gently** wedge them into the inside corners of the sleeves.

Anyone know if they have any kraft paper or whatever i should be using to ship posters in? I keep coming up with artsy kraft paper when I search.

Edit: Is this what I need? http://www.jerrysartarama.com/discount- ... r-roll.htm

They kind of have a bad selection of items. I can't find anything that I want.

You don't want glassine paper. People use glassine paper on top of prints to protect them during shipping. But you can't roll a print for shipping in glassine paper. I get my kraft paper at target, and try to reuse/recycle paper when prints come to me properly shipped. But this is what I get at Target, in their little shipping section. I'm sure someone else knows a cheaper place for big rolls, but you need to be shipping in volume and have some space for one of those massive rolls.

Thanks, I guess I'll try amazon as there's no Targets closeby. Is this paper also ok for separating posters? Or is that where I would want the glassine?

I know that Itoya 18x24s are good for smaller prints but since I have a 24x36 picturesque with a few 18x24 refills I'd rather put all my prints (including the 12x24s) in there until its full...when that happens I will definitely get an Itoya for my smaller prints.

I dont mind the slipping side to side as, like you said, putting them in the corners tends to help that..I'm just trying to keep them from sliding out of the top.

Used my groupon along with 25% off code MISSYOU25 for a 24x36 portfolio and two refill packs. Came out to $200 spent all day (I got nailed with $86 shipping being that I'm in Hawaii). All in all not bad considering where I live so I'm pretty happy.

Anyone else get their portfolio and feel it's a little... small? Picture below, it's like 1/4" too short.

Note: After all the messages warning "be careful when putting prints in pages!!!" I chose my scratch & dent Dracula to start with (hence the damage at the top which was already there)

My Dracula does not stick out fwiw. Are you sure you got it all the way down? The last 2-3cm can be a bit tricky.
