Can someone post a pic of the "bean" bag type weights? I'd like to make some, but I don't know what they look like. Also, what do the fill them with? Do they really use dry beans?thegig wrote:believe it or not, we make 'em. Thanks for all the info. I got a science fair board and some acid free paper at the store and am using those, its just taking a while. I read some stuff online about rolling the poster the opposite direction of the existing curve but that sounds dangerous so Ill just let time run its course.
never purchased from them before but they sell them at cutting-mats.netIWish wrote:Can someone post a pic of the "bean" bag type weights? I'd like to make some, but I don't know what they look like. Just put some posters in-between acid free foam board with binder clips...have people found that additional weight is needed or do the posters flatten pretty well just on their own within the foam?
thanks!
thanks!

i find that a good way to start the flattening is to cover the print in paper and roll it back on itself around the tube it came in, hold it there for a minute and then stick it in a folder and put weight on it

for larger prints i like to hang them with clips in the shower with me. ...twenty minutes of steam and then put the poster between two pieces of particle or pressed board and run over it with the car a few times.
after that your print is "mint" and ready for ebay!
