Wooden Flat File...Line the drawers?
Sorry I didn't want to repeat the questions that were posed before me, but my post was more in response to archival affects of storing in a wood flat file. The glue, the staining, the oils from the wood, etc etc. We may not know, but I would assume a metal flat file system superior when it comes to archival storage of art. What if prints are bagged? What if they are separated by glassine? Anyone know if any research or experience is out there regarding storage of paper materials, arts, prints, etc?

Metal is the gold standard, end of story. If you want your print storage to be as "archival" as possible, that's the way to go. Whether that actually matters is much more difficult to answer.

Fair enough and sort of what I had gathered. Thanks for the info.
