You can order custom tubes from them too at a very reasonable price. I ghad some 500 yellow extra-thick tubes made once and that are just wonderful!

So I take it that you all are using these only for shipping prints? I thought tube storage is a bad idea.

I've been using some 80mil 25" ulines that I've got. I upgraded from a 70mil 24" uline and I'm pretty happy w/ them. I would agree that the yazoo mill tubes are the cadallac of tubes....I especially like the smooth interior of the tube. But I'm paying just over a buck a piece for the upgraded ulines and that's w/ shipping included. What are you guys paying for the yazoo's? (I assume most people use the 100mil 24" yazoo's?)......maybe I should concider switching over.

Oh, I guess I should mention that I'm only ordering 25 at a time....and I'm getting them within 2 days.

25 at a time? What are you doing with all these tubes?

Uline is Ok for sure. They are a reputable shipping supply company. But when it comes to tubes there is no comparison. My experience is that the slightly higher cost of yazoo tubes pays for itself if you ship alot from a higher success rate of shipping.

That is not to say that a yazoo tube cannot be destroyed by the post office. I honestly believe that the USPS runs over tubes with their trucks. Some of the fudge I have seen destroyed would have impressed the hulk. I can jump up and down on most yazoo tubes without damage.

The only thing that I don't like about Yazoo is that there is a major lip on the inside of most of their tubes. This makes the prints hard to get out. For an amatuer, this can mean damaging a print on its way out.

I haven't experienced this...maybe you got a bad batch.

And jojo I buy Yazoo by the case (25) and they are 48". That way when I've got a big ass EMEK or Jermaine to ship I'm still covered. It's about $2.20 ea. shipped so about a $1.10 each once I cut them in half. Worth the extra dime for piece of mind IMO.
