Well here ya go this is what I have done so far & I'll update it as I make progress.
Day One(10 hours inc. Cutting material for another special frame project.)
The Material is Poplar straight from Lowes about 25 bucks worth
Have a Plan.
Damn a winter full of NOT cleanin up after myself
Ready to Rock.
Rough cut the pieces to length
Nice Clean Cut
4 of the side pieces & 4 of the top & bottom
Cutting down 4 of the pieces for glue up
FULL glue coverage is needed!!
Good to see excess glue while clamping them up

The angle for the profile has been Cut as well as the slots for the biscuits

Day one DONE.
Day Two(10 to 12 hrs.)
I spent a good deal of time this A.M. figuring out what I wanted to do design wise on the frame. A good time waster till it gets warm enough to get back out into my shop.
Anywho then..
Time for some sanding to smooth out the saw cuts from a rather extreme cut for my saw.
A clean, tight Joint...smooth as a Babys ass from sanding down to 220.
Back inside to transfer my design to the wood
Then it's Back out to the Shop for some time with a router.
It's good to get most of the fields cleared before the chisel carving begins. Once done with this, Time to lay off for the day.
Day Three(was 15 hrs. of Carving)
The Chisel work starts today...Slow work so I'll just post Highlights through this part of the process.

Well That's it up to yesterday for now.
I'm working hard to get this finished promptly as I have a lot of other things I should be doing instead of this...But I just gotta get this pup up!
Everyday I work on it I'll post the last days work, the next morning.
(But I'm travelin' with the Infamous Stringdusters on their Illinois leg so I'll be absent during the weekend)
Can't wait too see the final product! Looking killer so far
