What are good poster tubes for transport?
I made my own travel/convention tubes out of 4in pvc tube. They're water-tight and have screw on top.
Old photo (the main one of these I use now has a ton of stickers on it, but you get the idea)

be careful if you buy any from users here. there's one user that sells them with a lip on the inside - very easy to get your prints stuck in there. if not rolled up super tight and taped good. not worth the trouble honestly.
don't even know if that person is STILL on here, just passing along the info I've been given about the tubes. make sure there is no lip.
and hop off the dick, cb.

Quick trip to Menards, or hardware store of your choosing.... PVC tube (cut to desired length), PVC cement (ideally PVC cement and primer, but you aren't building a house), a coupling to close off the bottom, a coupling / twist top to close off the top, and some straps. Your total costs should be pretty minimal, and the time to assemble is quick... the PVC cement dries super fast and it is really, really easy to deal with.mfaith wrote:I made my own travel/convention tubes out of 4in pvc tube.
