Best Bags and where to get them?

I've been using a picturesque portfolio and not convinced it's the safest solution. Also concerned because Jeremy's seems to be out of refills until 2017.

Just wondering what are the best bag solutions out there and where do I purchase? I'm thinking a mylar bag, that has a flap (either sealable or not), with some sort of sheet or backing is the way to go.

Please let me know a solid way to make sure my prints are protected long term (unfortunately I don't have room for a flat file).

Thanks!

Looking to get some bags to store my flat filed prints in. I'm in Canada and Frame Destination doesn't ship up here. Found these ones and I'm wondering; flap or no flap? Thanks for any help you can provide!

Huge selection of poly and mylar + acid-free backing so you cab store 2/bag.

Thanks for that! Would you guys suggest flap or no flap? I don't think I'll be dealing the bags with the flap, as I'll be rotating my prints in and out of frames. Although if flaps are better for the prints I'll use them.

I prefer without the flap. They just get in the way IMO.

Do you guys use a backing board for your posters or do you just bag them up?

I just bag them up and put them in the flat file. Backing board just takes up space. Even before I had a flat file, I kept them bagged and stacked in a foam core sammy. For anything that didn't fit in my portfolio that is.

Another no flap, no board person here. The 4mil ones are really nice, but 2mil are good too.

Mine arrived from bags unlimited in sort of a rolled "S" pattern in a large tube sized plastic sleeve. They all arrived safe with no creases.
I get the 4mil sleeves which others have recommended above and with no backing.
