Shipping Flat - Supplies?

Where is a good place to acquire large pieces of flat cardboard to ship stuff flat? I'm sure there's a place I'm overlooking, but I'd love to know a store that I can just walk into locally and pick stuff up. If not, Internet resources would be good also.

Thanks!

Try a furniture store. Always large shipping boxes for couch's etc..

That's a pretty good thought.

Is there anyway to just buy pieces of consistent size? I really don't want to have to cut it down myself, and feel like the stuff I get flat from galleries and artists always looks like it's manufactured to a certain size, not cut from larger boxes.

I use masonite to ship flat. It's much stronger so bent packages don't really happen when using it. You can get a 4'x8' sheet for less than $15 at Home Depot or Lowes and they'll usually cut it to whatever size you need.

Different stores seem to call it different names. I've seen it called MDF and tempered hardboard.
