Hi,
In the next few months I am selling my house and buying another. It is about 30/40mins drive. I have about 400 prints unframed. All of them are in mylar sleeves in a flat file. I am looking for advice from people who have been in similar situations and needed to transport a large amount of prints. I know how to pack a tube but this would take a very long time and then having to re flatten and put them all away at the next place (moving is stressful enough).
Any advice is much appreciated.
Mike

with care
Believe most folks bundle/sandwich them in foam core/plexi etc.
would never roll them - more opportunity for issues

Just move them in the flatfile maybe?

I'm in the same predicament. I'll likely be moving next year, too. From what I hear the above suggestions are the best...foamcore or plexi sandwich held with binder clips.

bundles of 20, sandwiched and strapped - it would be my recommendation to use more than clips, wrap those babies with duck tape, hold them like a nice pair of momma bottles suck suck
