I just pulled a Ken Taylor CFTBL from a frame so I could attempt a sale when... I noticed tiny clusters of fibers grouped around the lettering.

I'm certain these are paper fibers, but I guess the question is why did this happen?
The print was without a matte, so it was up against the glass. No warping or any other problems.
Could this be caused by the print being held against the glass? Is this normal?
And the big question, how does this impact the value of my print?

Thanks in advance for the help!!!

^^^ Most likely. You may see some ink on the glass where it was sitting

I wouldn't say worthless but definitely worth less. :) Could probably still get $50-60 is my guess.

For Sure, I wouldn't either, nor could I in good conscience try to sell this at market value.

Interesting. This is a good illustration on why you should always use spacers or a mat.
