All it is a different color paper. That's it. Maybe a little thicker stock, but not sure on that. Its just a preference in color I guess.

A roll of bubble wrap [20 square feet] at office max costs nearly three times as much as a roll of bubble wrap at Target.

The roll is of superior quality at Target [Scotch Cushion wrap 3M].

How do I know this? I did the legwork. Or maybe someone else did the legwork. But what difference does it make over time if you're paying THREE TIMES the amount for an inferior product when you're shipping with it all the time? I don't know. Nothing according aaanuts.

Must be the different culture.

Did you seriously just rant about people not saying the price of a roll of kraft paper? Here we are in the age of digital information, and you still want it spoon fed to you? :lame:

Here's the thing.

Q: "Do you know how much it is at the Target you visited?"

ACCEPTABLE ANSWERS: "No." "I don't." "Who knows." "Cheap." "Less than 2$." "Less than 1$." "Around 1.50$."

In none of the acceptable answers is a rollingeyessmiley or sass at all. If you can't keep yourself from disrespecting others in a community, perhaps you should refrain from replying on posts that to your personal values, cause you to roll your eyes.

At dvdtalk, no one ever questions why a simple sharing of information is even conducted with personal research being able to answer whatever questions you hold. In this very community, when someone asks when a sale is taking place, or what is the edition size, or anything, which as well can be researched at any number of online sources, no one disrespects the inquirer.

But hey, post more lamesignsmilies. Whatever floats your boat.

There is Otterville [OT] for shenanigans. Besides the point though. Enough has been exchanged over the price of kraft paper even for me. Carry on.

Man, DeltaSig is about as socially savvy as Grateful69Phish.

I wish I had banning power.

No one is stalking you. You are not the arbiter of what's "acceptable" on these boards. Get over your delusion of self-importance. If you don't like what I have to say, tell a mod. Carry on.

I have to estimate [conservatively] that Cold Sore has made at least one hundred [100] posts about me or in reference to me on the internet. I've maybe typed his name three-four times. If that is not e-stalking, I don't know what is. But by all means, carry on.*

*And if I don't like what you have to say, I will tell you. Like I did. I don't need to run to the teacher to tattle. We're all adults here.

You totally missed my point.

To sum things up:
Kraft paper is not acid free. It's great for shipping posters in, but not long term storage. It is relatively inexpensive.
The kraft variant posters/handbills seen here are printed on thick stock, not the kraft paper used for shipping.

Last word.

I'd add as well that when you see something with "kraft" as the type of stock for the printing paper, in most cases (but not all) it's in reference to the color of the paper stock much like "red" or "black". A Kraft variant isn't printed on kraft paper, but it is the defined color/texture of the stock used.
That said, I do actually have a couple of pieces in my possession that are printed on kraft paper...
