Shipping in a PVC tube?

Do they chop the PVC up for you at the store (home depot, lowes)? If not how do you cut pvc tubing down to size? Thanks!

Home depot here has it pre-cut to 36" lengths. I'm sure if you wanted to buy a larger length, they could cut it for you in to smaller pieces of various lengths.
