I need to pick up a piece of uv glass or acrylic today and received a coupon for Joann Fabric 50%Off custom framing components. Seems like a good deal if I could pick up glass from them. No hobby lobby near by. Might also try to have Michaels take the coupon

I'd avoid Michaels. They are way too pricey. They wanted $75 for a piece of 16.5x20.25 UV plexi.

I know it's expensive but 50% Off components isn't that bad.

Michaels also has their "version" of Museum Glass too I think. I'd go with that or the UV Glass over Acrylic. They will def take the JoAnns coupon.

Hobby Lobby is a dirty word for some folks but FWIW with their weekly 40% off coupon you can get decent deals on TruVue UV clear or anti-reflective or Museum glass.

I'm with ya, I get all my Museum there. $78 for 28x40 is awesome.

I think thats what the cost is for UV/Tru at Michaels after they match the Joann 50% off components.

Michaels and Hob Lob stock glass for cutting at the store.

I went to Lowes. They have a great plexiglass section, UV protected, 10X stronger than glass specific plexi for framing pictures.

I forgot the brand, check their site. It's a decent price too, they can even custom trim it in store. Just make sure you get someone good cutting it, I recently got some I stupidly bought (returning soon) that had plexi shavings, and shards all on the side. Not a clean cut.
